Yurii graduated from Yaroslav the Wise National Law University. He completed an internship at the analytical center of the European Stability Initiative, in Germany, and also took part in experience exchange programs in the USA.
Yurii is a Generation17 Young Leader within the joint program of UNDP and Samsung Global, which strengthens the voice of civil society to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
He has 10 years of experience in the non-governmental sector and has managed more than 30 projects, including international projects covering 8 countries. He is expert of the Budget Advocacy School (2018-2021).

Founder of "Maps of Destruction and Recovery" — an online map that collects information about all civilian infrastructure facilities damaged or destroyed as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
In 2023, together with the team of the NGO "Anti-Corruption Headquarters", the NGO documented evidence of crimes of the destruction of cultural heritage using the "Project Providence" application in five regions. The project collected information on 572 destroyed infrastructure facilities in Ukraine (1,436 photos) with an additional description and exact coordinates of the destruction by the Russians.
Lesia is an expert in the field of international relations and public administration. She has extensive work experience in international structures, including service over five 5 years in international organizations of the UN system. In 2014, in connection with the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine war, she co-founded the Ukrainian office of the largest international humanitarian organization. In 2018 she joined the Reforms Delivery Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to work on the implementation of the public administration reform and other transformations.
Lesia has significant work experience in analytical centers, both Ukrainian and foreign: the Center for Defense Strategies (Ukraine), FRIDE - one of Spain’s leading think-tanks, and the European Council for Foreign Relations. Her main research topics are international security, in particular, the Russia-Ukraine war, the work of international organizations, public administration and Ukraine’s civil society.
